The founder of the Green Cap Revolution and former Borno State governorship aspirant of the APC, Attom Mohammed Magira, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to be wary of some APC chieftains at all levels as 2019 approaches.

In a telephone chat with Daily Trust over the weekend, Magira alleged plot by a section of the national and states officials of the party to whittle the chances of Buhari’s second term victory at the election.

“As the youngest governorship aspirant in the country, I was opportune to meet majority of the party stalwarts over the last two months who expressed clear lack of enthusiasm towards Buhari’s second term,” he alleged.

“About 50 per cent of APC’s national and states officials and about 50 per cent of the party’s governors are actually unsympathetic to the president,” he alleged.

“I can also tell you confidently that those APC governors whose names I cannot mention in print have a hidden interest in the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and they can compromise their commitment to Buhari’s victory in favour of Atiku at the election,” he said.
